In my last version (2.42), if I inserted a new track by doubleclicking, it was grouped to the master, even if the master was hidden in the track pane...
Now in 3.1, if I hide the master by clicking on the Track tag, so that only the tracks are visible and insert a new track (doesn´t matter which method) the new track is not grouped to the master, metering is disabled and there are only audio and midi options available...
To change this, I have to rightclick the track, choose "Move> Move to group > Master"...
Is this intended to be this way??? If yes, this was a bad idea |

| Hmm, this may be something that have gone bad in the latest 3.1.0 update, where I did some track-related fixes. I'll investigate this. |
