| I have Podium, XT2.But i see a lot of people also used other Hosts(sonar, cubase, logic, samplitude etc. Just question: Are they sounds different? What is the differents? From which it depends?( audio engine?) How do you compare Podiums audio engine with other hosts? Thnx. |

Hi,
Podiums engine sounds as good as any IMO. This subject has been discussed on many forums as you likely already know...and I don't think anyone has proved there is any real measurable difference between hosts.
Have a look at this if you want to see how much Frits (the developer) knows on this matter... I would not worry if I were you.

they, at the reaper forum, just finished an extensive summing test that includes Reapr, Podium, Cubase, SAW, Pro Tools, Sonar, and Nuendo. as you would expect, they null out, which means technically there is zero difference in the sound.
however, this argument is like religion and will likely never go away. _________________ sam |
