ConquistadorI suspect many potential buyers of Podium already use rewire and would consider it an essential feature before considering Podium as a host. Of course not everyone needs rewire but there is definitely a good number of potential customers out there who already have one of the following applications…
1. Reason
2. Ableton Live
3. Acid Pro
4. Project 5
None of which will work as a plugin (like FL studio or Phrazor) so it’s rewire or nothing. Only rewire will link these applications with Podium.
I think many potential users will not stop using any of the applications listed above if they buy Podium. I think many will wait for rewire instead.
I think it is on the future list anyway so with the co – operation of Porpellerhead (I read they were not that responsive to Justin the Reaper developer) it will arrive at some point in Podium. 😉
I think Propellerhead eventually got back to Justin (Reaper developer) so Reaper does have rewire now.
