About Zynewave
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Frits Nielsen. I am the founder of the company Zynewave and the developer of the Podium application and this website.
Podium is a labor of love which I have been working on since 1990. It all started during my student years where Podium saw the light of day on the Amiga computer. Over the years Podium has gone through many transformations until finally evolving into something that I felt was fit for public release. The Zynewave company was created in 2004 for this purpose.
My motivation for starting this project was to create a unique tool for my own music production purposes. The development of the tool has since taken on a life of its own and has forced my music to wait for another time. I've worked on Podium evenings and nights while holding a day job as software engineer. From 1996 to 2005 I worked at TC Electronic where my job was user interface design and implementation. Since 2005 I have worked full-time on the development of Podium. With your support I hope to be developing Podium even further for years to come.
